About the Event
In this event, you will experience an intimate atmosphere, in a room filled with candles. Just sit back and enjoy a mesmerising musical evening with us, with tapas & booze. Expect some of the most treasured masterpieces from Chopin, Bach, Alkan and Mozart!
James began playing piano at the age of 16 and immediately took a liking to the music of Bach, Mozart and especially Chopin and Alkan, composers with whom he has a strong affinity. In 2010, he was awarded the Don Kay Scholarship for piano and was accepted into the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music where he studied under Shan Deng and David Bollard. James regularly performs in Hobart and remains active as a teacher.
We will have a very special guest to perform a few pieces at the beginning of the gig. Come and find out who!
