This is the first return of the Jazz nights at Providence after being shut down due to a noise complaint four months ago and a long, tedious process of fighting for the chance to host music at night. A big THANK YOU to all that signed our petition and provided support letters! We couldn’t have done this without you! Please join us and celebrate the return of the Jazz nights at Providence!
Brian Ritchie, the curator of MONA FOMA, music curator of MONA and the Bassist of Violent Femmes will be back with his Trio this weekend at Providence!
The Trio on Friday night the 29th of July consists of Brian Tairaku Ritchie on shakuhachi (Japanese Bamboo Flute), Tim Jones (from TSO) on tuba and Konrad Park on Percussion.
